Walk, Cycle, Paddle or Swim to the Sandbanks in Prince Edward County, Wine Country!

Our waterfront cottage is air conditioned and fully equipped for your comfort.  Wake up to gentle breeze and birdsong on this very private property and sand-bottomed West Lake.  We are open for your enjoyment year round.

Barbeque on the deck, picnic down by the water, play horseshoes or croquet or bocce ball on our 1 acre property.  Take the canoe for a paddle.  Swim or wade far out;  it's safe for the kids.  Your pets are welcomed too.  The first few feet of water hosts pebbles, and beyond that, rippled sand.

Wander over to the Restaurant on the Knoll, or stroll to the Tambo for a snack, movie, paper or groceries.  Cycle the pastoral lands with ease, or rent a bicycle nearby.  Visit the Wineries or Sandbanks Provincial park, just down the road.  Enjoy the fresh vegetables and flowers of the county at countless roadside markets and sip the best of County Wines on the Taste Tour.  Visit historic Wellington, Bloomfield and Picton and enjoy the Regent Theater too!

Watch, photograph or paint  the orioles, hummingbirds, cardinals, blue jays, purple martins that live on our property.  Read under the shade of Maple and Poplars or on the front porch facing the water.

Our cottage is very safe for your young children as well.  We have high chair, booster seat high chair, playpen, monitor, splash pool, change table and stroller for your use.

Enjoy the Sandbanks View!

Looking from the waterfront to the Sandbanks

This queen bed in the master bedroom is so comfortable

Twin beds in the second bedroom

I waded out and turned around; looking right at the shoreline and the Sandbanks

Facing the shoreline with steps down to the water.  We put our chairs in the water and relax, or swim, or use the noodles.  The black mat on the left is used to slide boats, canoes and kayaks into the water.

I waded out, turned around; looking left. You can wade far out safely without the water going over your head... great for the kids.  Standing here, the water was just above my knees. There is a little building in the distance here.  I believe that is where you can rent bicycles, boats etc.
